PROFESSIONAL ACCOMPLISHMENTS
Mark began his business career with Amoco Production Company in 1976 after graduating from Texas Tech University with a Bachelors Degree in Business Management. Soon changing his business focus from oil and gas to commercial real estate, Mark founded Noble and Simmons Real Estate in 1984. In 1988, a great opportunity came his way to head up Triton Energy Corporation’s real estate subsidary, Triton Development. Working with Triton, Noble led the marketing of Triton’s East Texas Center, the largest industrial development between Dallas and Shreveport.
In 1991, Noble formed Burns and Noble Commercial Real Estate with veteran commercial broker, Taylor Burns. Initially, Noble handled all the leasing and management for the Trammell Crow developed office, retail, and industrial properties in Tyler and Shreveport, Louisiana. Between 1991 and 1997, Burns and Noble grew to be the premier commercial real estate firm in East Texas and the largest commercial firm by a very wide margin.
In 1997 Noble spearheaded the merger of Burns and Noble with Corrigan Real Estate Services in Dallas, thereby forming the CBN Group, L.P. and subsequently in 2004 was the primary architect of the merger that; along with Colliers McCauley Nicolls, would eventually form CCBN Texas Limited Partnership, the entity that today operates as Colliers International in Dallas Fort Worth and Colliers Burns and Noble in Tyler. Initially, Colliers will have seventy-five (75) employees and independent contractors which will include Property Managers, Engineers, Accounting, Administrative Assistants and nineteen (19) Brokers and Leasing Agents. Colliers will have approximately four (4) million square feet of retail and office under property management.
Noble’s brokerage activity has primarly focused on office leasing and investment sales. Noble has represented such clients as Principal Financial Group, the Trammell Crow Company, Lincoln Property Company, SONAT Exploration, Paine Webber, Dain Rauscher and many more spanning a twenty-five year real estate career.
