Jerry Hillery is an associate vice president with Colliers International and is well established as a Deer Valley industrial market expert. Jerry specializes in the sale, acquisition and leasing of industrial properties, including single and multi-tenant buildings, industrial condos, and industrial land for development. He has more than 11 years experience representing owners, developers, investors, tenants, and users. Jerry has been in the commercial real estate industry since 1998 and joined Colliers in 2004.
Jerry’s extensive experience in the Deer Valley industrial market provides in-depth knowledge that leads to successful real estate solutions for his clients. He is an expert at identifying opportunities that meet each client’s business objectives. His ability to work with both landlords and tenants allows him to achieve the best solution for all parties. Jerry is committed to a high level of service and accountability, keeping clients informed throughout the transaction process.
Since 2004, Jerry has completed 56 sales transactions for over two million sf of land and buildings with a total value of $59 million; and 53 lease transactions for over 400,000 sf with a total lease value of $6.6 million.
PROFESSIONAL ACCOMPLISHMENTS
- Marketed and sold Deer Valley’s first industrial condo project. Project sold out in 24 months. Sales value of $8.8 million
- Sold 40-acre lot program within 18 months. Sales value of $13.2 million
- Initiated a comprehensive research and cold calling strategy to develop a database of owners & tenants, which proved valuable in cultivating long-term business relationships.
PRIOR EXPERIENCE
Prior to joining Colliers, Jerry was an associate director at Cushman & Wakefield, responsible for industrial and office sales and leasing and representing both landlords and tenants. He began his commercial real estate career at Equis in 1998, focusing on tenant representation of national clients, such as Chicago Title and Caremark. He then joined Insignia/ESG, where he specialized in industrial sales and leasing and landlord/tenant representation in the Deer Valley submarket.
