PROFESSIONAL ACCOMPLISHMENTS
§ Jason Winton started with Colliers Macaulay Nicolls at the head office in Downtown Vancouver in 1994 after graduating from the UBC Urban Land Economics program. Three years were spent mentoring under senior brokers in the Land and Industrial divisions, and as a result Jason gained a comprehensive understanding of the sales and leasing of commercial real estate. Jason went on to become a specialist in the City of Vancouver where he averaged 50 deals per year placing him in the top 5% of brokers for number of transactions.
§ In 2004, Jason was given the opportunity to expand Colliers Victoria’s activities up Island and establish a Colliers Mid-Island office servicing the Mid and North Vancouver Island market areas. Now based in Nanaimo, Jason’s contacts in Victoria and the Lower Mainland put him in a unique position among professionals in that market area. Jason has been involved in over $50 Million worth of sale and lease transactions in the past two years representing investors, developers, tenants and landlords.
§ Jason has worked closely with the Mid Islands’ largest investors and developers including: Aquila Developments Inc., CH Realty Advisors, Artis REIT, First Capital Corp., Windley Investments Ltd., ICI Developments Ltd., PCRE Group, Western Forest Products, Island Timberlands, Loblaws Cos. Ltd., Insight Group.
Jason has also negotiated leases on behalf of many high profile tenants including: TD Financial, Wholesale Sports, the Provincial Government, Marks Work Warehouse, Starbucks, Subway, Catalyst Paper, Great West Life, Fastenal Canada, ATCO, among many others
