PROFESSIONAL ACCOMPLISHMENTS
David has been working in the industry for 25 years with a focus in process engineering, strategic planning, portfolio measurement standards, systems development, and team deployment. His professional experience has involved both a wide geographical scope as well as a diverse cross section of real estate segments including office space, industrial and manufacturing facilities.
While working in corporate representation, David was responsible for the creation of two key business tools. He developed multi-functional “Resource Centers” offering such services as strategic/financial planning, site selection/GIS mapping, lease administration, project management and design build. David was also responsible for the creation of a Web-based assignment tracking system complete with document archiving and cycle time analysis.
David has been involved in over 7 million square feet of property negotiations, and developed strategic real estate plans for a number of Fortune 1000 companies. He has worked closely with several key clients including Northrop Grumman, Celestica, FedEx and Hewlett-Packard.
CORPORATE EXPERIENCE
As President of Canadian business operations, David Bowden is responsible for the execution of the Colliers’ national business strategy while working in conjunction with all other leaders from Colliers’ business lines.
Known for his innovative business perspective, David is committed to accelerating the success of Colliers International in Canada by successfully advancing our competitiveness in all major markets. As an executive with Colliers International for the past 10 years, David has played an integral role in contributing to the success enjoyed in Canada. He has held a number of senior positions within Colliers including the leadership of the Corporate Services division, and the Professional Development group.
