Doug is committed to accelerating the success of Colliers professionals, shareholders and clients through a global platform based on specialization, service excellence and local flexibility. Doug has been instrumental in building a strong culture within Colliers. This includes establishing a global initiative to become a world leader in sustainability and opening doors at the local, national and international levels for corporate social responsibility programs, charitable giving and community involvement.
Prior to joining CMN, Doug held a variety of senior positions with the Grubb & Ellis Company in Illinois. His accomplishments included completing more than
$5.5 billion in investment sales and capital market transactions; leading the investment properties division and reorganizing it into product specialty groups, creating overall efficiency; increasing revenues from $21 million to $70 million over a four-year period; and integrating two diverse cultures with different compensation programs to work together successfully to create revenue and higher quality client services.
During his 13-year tenure with Grubb & Ellis, Doug held several leadership positions including Executive Officer; President, Institutional Services Group; and Senior Vice President of the Investment Properties Division. He also served as a member of the International Alliance Committee and the Operating Committee.
