CORPORATE EXPERIENCE
Mr. Spicker is the Managing Director of Colliers International’s property management division in San Francisco. In his position as managing director Mr. Spicker is responsible for new business development, oversight of property management accounts, construction management and leasing. The San Francisco Property Management division has over 1.6 million square feet of property under management.
Prior to joining the company Mr. Spicker was with George Elkins Property Management Company as managing director, northern region. Mr. Spicker began his real estate career with Del Monte Corporation where he handled typical corporate real estate functions such as office and warehouse leasing, purchase and sale of property, lease administration and management reporting. He entered the property management business as the general manager of Golden Gateway Center. His responsibilities included the management and leasing of One Maritime Plaza, with 570,000 square feet of office space, Golden Gateway Commons with 270,000 square feet of office and retail space, and 1,254 high-rise rental apartments with approximately 70,000 square feet of ground floor retail space.
Following the sale of One Maritime Plaza Mr. Spicker joined Equitable Real Estate Management as the general manager of One Market Plaza. One Market Plaza includes 1.4 million square feet of office space with street level retail space. His responsibilities included day-to-day management, tenant relations and leasing. In 1990 Mr. Spicker was hired by Pacific Property Services, L.P., the managing agent for the Embarcadero Center, as leasing director. His responsibilities included oversight of the exclusive leasing agents, lease administration and the revenue assumptions for annual budgets. After one year his responsibilities were expanded to include the property management and construction administration for the 3.4 million square feet of office space in Embarcadero Center.
Mr. Spicker holds a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in accounting and business statistics from the University of Oregon and is a licensed California Real Estate Broker. He has been active in BOMA and is currently the chair of the San Francisco BOMA Political Action Committee.
