PROFESSIONAL ACCOMPLISHMENTS
Avtar was born and raised in Victoria and attended the University of British Columbia. He joined Colliers Macaulay Nicolls in 1979. Since entering the real estate brokerage industry, he has focused his activities on the sale of investment properties, with particular emphasis on shopping centres and office buildings. He deals extensively with institutional, public and private investors and has been involved with a number of major real estate transactions including portfolio sales. He has also been a top performer for Colliers Macaulay Nicolls in Vancouver for the years 1986 to 2009.
With 30 years of experience in commercial real estate, Avtar Bains has completed over $8.0 billion in transactions. Avtar has strong relationships in local, national and international markets, and remains up-to-date on product, investor activities and market news.
