John Boer has been associated with Colliers International since 1990. John is a Senior Vice President in the Vancouver Office of Colliers International, and is a senior member of the industrial group. He specializes in larger more complex transactions, and particularly in the sale of large industrial and comprehensive mixed-use sites.
CORPORATE EXPERIENCE
John has been involved in the real estate industry in the Greater Vancouver area for over twenety years and has participated in transactions of over $1 billion in aggregate real estate value. He is recognized as one of the region’s top producers and consistently ranks among Colliers’ top advisors in Canada.
John has acted for many of Vancouver’s leading firms including real estate companies, operating companies and government institutions. John specializes in the sale of large redevelopment industrial properties, including the recent disposition of Labatt's former brewery site in New Westminster, Weyerhaeuser’s 69 acre Canadian White Pine Mill Site in Vancouver, three of Western Forest Product’s mill sites in South Vancouver, Finning’s 30 acre industrial site in Vancouver, the 20 acre Tech-Park Site on the False Creek Flats in East Vancouver, a portion of the 64 acre Fullerton Lumber Company lands in North Vancouver and the Dockside Lands in Victoria Harbour on behalf of the city of Victoria. John has been involved in build-to-suit transactions for facilities as large as 350,000 square feet and several dispositions and acquisitions as large as $100 million. He is well known to the real estate community in Vancouver as a creative problem solver.
