November 17, 2009, Phoenix – Colliers International–Greater Phoenix announces that Charles E. Eckert, Jr., vice president, has joined the Scottsdale office. Eckert specializes in industrial sales and leasing, commercial land sales and investment sales. He focuses on the Deer Valley, Scottsdale Airpark, Anthem and Loop 303 corridor submarkets.

Eckert comes to Colliers from Daum Commercial, where he specialized in industrial land and properties and twice earned a spot in the President’s Club as a top producer. He has been active in real estate investment and development in Arizona since 1997. Eckert’s interest in real estate goes back to 1979, when he first began investment analysis, and includes both commercial and residential investment and development. He also founded and built a “Top 20” mortgage banking firm. Outside of real estate, Eckert’s professional background includes both street level and executive level leadership experience in complex solutions sales, business consulting and financial management in both Fortune 500 and privately held companies, including Oracle Corporation, Eagle-Picher Technologies, Allenbrook Software and MCI Communications Corporation.

A resident of Scottsdale, Eckert holds a bachelor of science in industrial management and quantitative economics from Purdue University. Eckert holds an associate broker’s license from the Arizona Department of Real Estate.
