San Diego County's industrial market for all or most of 2010 isn't going to be much better than it was in 2009, according to a trio of reports from San Diego commercial brokerages.
Colliers International reported there was more than 3.7 million square feet of available space on Otay Mesa as 2009 ended and the other brokerage firms weren't far off with their numbers.
While CBRE said Carlsbad absorbed just 42,516 square feet, Colliers put the figure at 223,867 square feet and Cushman & Wakefield at 106,429 square feet.
Statistics may vary widely depending on when a survey is taken, the minimum size of the buildings in a sample, when space is considered occupied and whether or not build-to-suits are counted.
