Garcés to head up Life Sciences brokerage group
June 4, 2009, Seattle, WA – Colliers International announced that Marcelo Garcés joined the Seattle office to form a Life Sciences specialty brokerage group Garcés has a diverse background with a high level of command of Life Sciences, Medical and Data Center transactions. Colliers is committed to building specialized skilled teams within the four Puget Sound commercial real estate brokerage offices to provide clients with the knowledge and expertise they need to make informed business decisions.
Prior to Colliers, Garcés worked at Sabey Construction Inc. as a Development and Construction Project Manager. His responsibilities included directing the design-build of data center, life sciences and medical development projects, and negotiating and coordinating the execution of a 90 acre acquisition for data centers. He began his career at Sabey Corporation working as a Leasing Associate and evolved into an Associate Vice President for leasing and development.
Before joining Sabey, Garcés was a project engineer at Structural Engineers Inc. in Los Altos, CA. His responsibilities included designing structural solutions for commercial buildings and large-scale private estates.
