Lincoln Plaza

The Principal Financial Group informed KG Investment Management that they were considering selling the 150,000 square foot Lincoln Plaza. Although 100% leased through January 1, 2006 primarily to Microsoft, the property needed to be re-positioned to create the highest potential price while minimizing the risk for prospective buyers. Microsoft had vacated all 118,000 square feet they occupied in Lincoln Plaza twelve months earlier and were attempting to sublease all of the space to one large tenant and had been successful. Chris Reid and Jeff Jochums of Colliers convinced the subleasing team for Microsoft to break up their remaining square footage in Building C and completed four smaller subleases. Based on Jeff and Chris’ success subletting the space in Building C, Microsoft hired Colliers to co-list the remaining sublease vacancy with Trammell Crow.
