Even in the face of economic hardship, parking garage owners and operators are managing to hold or even increase parking rates, states the 9th annual Colliers International North American Parking Rate Survey. The continued imbalance between suppy and demand has maintained or even in some cities increased monthly parking rates. Massive job losses and a challenging business environment has not forced parking garage owners to reduce rates for the most part. Daily rates are up across the board and monthly rates have fallen less than one percent on average. London, England continues to post the highest parking rates worldwide.
