At the end of 2006, the Mexico City office market was very dynamic. A decisive factor was a substantial drop in availability compared with the previous year. It was due, in part, to the consolidation and arrival of new companies to the country, causing a climb in demand compared with the one registered during 2005. Those factors increased the net absorption of spaces, as well as the office spaces’ rental rates, mainly in class A+ and A buildings.
