Thanks to continued strength in energy-related activity in Alberta, Edmonton's economy has continued its impressive performance into the third quarter of 2006. This growth is causing significant demand for office space, particularly in the engineering and construction sectors. However, with only a few new projects announced for the next twelve months and a continuation of a very low vacancy levels, tenants will be forced to accept increasingly difficult terms.
