Q1 2008 Edmonton Industrial Highlights
Despite an average of 2.5 - 3.0 million square feet of industrial
space being added each year for the past three years, Greater Edmonton's
vacancy rate has remained stable. The vacancy rate
in Greater Edmonton declined minimally from 1.51 per cent in 2007 to 1.44
percent in the first quarter of 2008.
Rental rates continue to climb! Rental rates in
the $12 - $15 range are common both within the City and within the surrounding
counties.
