Edmonton residential sales in the first quarter of 2009
were 25 percent below the activity levels reported during the same quarter
last year, but the low mortgage rate environment coupled with recent price
reductions will help spur buying activity in the second half of the year.
At present properties that are moving are ones in superior locations
and quality.
