2007 Year-End Edmonton Multi-Family Highlights
Edmonton multi-family sales exploded in 2007!
Over $748 million of multi-family product was traded during 2007.
The average price per walk-up unit jumped nearly 63 per cent, increasing
from $60,000 in 2006 to $98,000 in 2007. Over 131 acres of multi-family
land was transferred during 2007.
Vacancy remains one of the lowest in Canada. Vacancy
increased slightly to 1.5 per cent during the fourth quarter, but remains
historically low.
